Author Anthony Cotilletta began writing at a young age but always thought he would end up an illustrator; his mind set on one day working for Marvel Comics. It was some time during his college years when his focus went back to writing, and he hasn’t looked back since. He took any opportunity to write and although some projects never came to fruition, he didn’t stop pursuing his dream. Eventually submitting his writing to the Marvel.com website, his persistence was noticed by one of the moderators, who in turn asked if Anthony would like to assist in moderating the site. Of course, Anthony was all too eager to help. It wasn’t too long after that Anthony was offered a chance to write a character profile for an Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe. By some small miracle, his profile was accepted, leading to his first official published work in Thor: Asgard’s Avenger. Anthony feels privileged to be one among the many talented individuals chosen to write for Marvel’s handbooks. Since then he contributed several other character profiles to other Official Handbooks of the Marvel Universe as well as contributed character updates in (you guessed it) Marvel’s Official Handbooks, soft cover updates. It was mainly because of this dream-fulfilling achievement that he gained the confidence to tackle the undertaking of writing a novel. He continues to be a freelance writer for Marvel, but he is also excited to see where this new adventure will lead him. Anthony lives on the East Coast and is currently working on the sequel to The Heart of Lycaon.
