I would like to thank you for visiting my blog and website, and hopefully you’ll check out my first novel, The Heart of Lycaon, when you’re through exploring here. Understandably, there isn’t a ton of content being this is my first novel, but be patient … there’s more to come. I have several ideas inside my head just waiting to be put to paper, and I am planning a few other books in the Lycaon series … the second installment is currently in the works as you read this.

However, this blog is not meant to shamelessly plug different projects I have worked or am currently working on, although that will happen from time to time. I want this to be about all the things I (and hopefully all of you) want to hear about; whether it be a new movie or book about to be released or needing to be reviewed, projects my friends or associates have worked or are working on, if any of you have an interesting project you’d like to shamelessly plug, or simply to answer questions anyone might have for me. I realize that opens a lot of potential doors for ridiculous questions from all the wise guys out there, but you never know … I may answer one or two of those too. So go ahead and feel free to head over to the CONTACT page and drop me a line. I can’t wait to hear from you.

I am extremely proud of this accomplishment, and I have to admit that writing for The Official Handbooks of the Marvel Universe gave me the confidence to write my own story. Before I go any further, I have to thank Mike Fichera, who first offered me the opportunity to write for the company I loyally followed since childhood. If it wasn’t for him, I don’t think I would have ever had a chance to see my name in print inside a Marvel book. Seriously, Mike, I can’t thank you enough. Also, I have to thank Mike O’Sullivan and Jeff Christiansen. It was through studying their edits of work I submitted for publication and their invaluable advice that helped my writing evolve into something better than I could hope for. I’ll never know it all, but you guys gave me an excellent jumping off point.

My novel took several years to complete, and I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who assisted me in this endeavor. First and foremost, I would like to thank God for helping me through this process and all its complexities—including finding the right people, like Denise Adamo, who would help me achieve success. Denise initially proofread my book and significantly improved some of my technical skills when revising it. I would also like to thank Carl Graves of Extended Imagery for his creative genius to design such a fantastic cover. He took what I envisioned in my mind and made it numerous times better. By extension, I have to thank author J. A. Konrath for his blog because it was through it that I found Carl. I must also thank my co-worker, Helene, who pointed out a critical color detail I somehow missed in the cover art. I want to thank James M. Loeffler and Thomas Rosselli, who copyrighted my manuscript to ensure I didn’t goof up trying to do it on my own. Thank you to Linda H. Dolan of Write to Sell Your Book for meticulously copy-editing my manuscript, correcting all the small details I missed and helping me tie all the loose ends together. And many thanks to Diane O’Connell of Write to Sell Your Book for her eye to detail and great insight as an editor, and for her integral role in the publishing process; without her knowledge and expertise I do not think I would have been able to handle this massive undertaking on my own. I want to thank my friends and family who supported me (even if it was only to hound me to get it done), critiqued my writing and helped me with critical research to include in my story. And I especially thank my Aunt Bernadette whose advice to me a long time ago was, “Write what you know, and people will read it.” I hope she was right. Thanks to the guys at Ragnarock for helping me design this website, and last, but definitely not least, I thank all of you who took a chance on someone new to the publishing industry and read this book.

I believe this is just the beginning of this adventure, and I sincerely hope you’ll continue to walk the road with me.
